Welcome... Welcome to the Colchester Model Car Club website. We are a radio controlled model car racing club based in Easthorpe, just outside Colchester in Essex. We race 1:10 scale I.C. & electric on-road cars every Sunday all year round. We also offer practice nights for most on-road & off-road models during the summer months. August 2010 Web Updates... 31/08/10: All results from rounds 9 of the CMCC summer series have now been uploaded to the "Race Calendar & Results page" & the championship standings updated. Congratulations to Paul Bellinger who took the nitro final win, 1 lap up on Dan Coussell in second with Craig Woods finishing in third. In the electric class Matt Rowe took FTQ along with leg 1 and 2 victories. Championship leader Franck Dambrine took second in leg 1 with Darren Evans in third. Leg 2 saw Richard King take the second spot ahead of Darren Evans who finished off a very consistent race weekend in third. 12/08/10: Sorry for the delay in bringing the most recent CMCC summer series results online. A new system is now in place to have results updated on the same evening as the race meeting. Results from rounds 2, 6, 7, & 8 of the CMCC summer series have now been uploaded & championship standings updated. CMCC 2010 Summer Series... The CMCC Summer series starts now !! Come and join the fun - Race Dates Wednesday practice nights have now started - so dust off your models and we'll see you track side ! CMCC 2009/2010 Winter Series... Congratulations to all the competitors who entered the CMCC Winter Series. Championship positions were decided in a nail-biting final round.
